I love to stay home. But every day I travel the world, through time, through space.

Sometimes I just sit look at my crowded bookshelves in my tiny apartment and breathe in feeling the comfort of being able to stay home, yet able to travel anywhere I want.  Where else can you visit a forensic lab, learn grammar at a Grade Four level, have a drink with Bukowksi, cruise through SFMOMA, cry in Ireland and laugh with Amy Sedaris in the same blink?

When I was young, I recall promising myself that I would keep all my books no matter what.

I am a librarian at heart and love the haphazard categories of my shelves.
