New shop in my neighborhood: @ingoodcompanynv: #Local #Handmade #EcoFriendly #Cooperative #Inspiring

I love connecting with people who pursue a dream and then execute the plan.  Janelle Bakker and Jean Stenhouse in North Vancouver are two such people:

Local. Handmade. Gifts. Baby & Kids. Clothing. Eco-Friendly. Cooperative.

I am delighted to discover the new store IN GOOD COMPANY a couple of blocks away from my apartment filled with eco-friendly, handmade, made-with-love, children-welcome, ETSY-for-real, artisan-celebratory shop!

I had my first official visit yesterday and I was so impressed with the friendly and inviting space that allows the visitor to immerse into incredible arts and crafts, fashion, food, vintage items etc.  It is very child-friendly (kids can be kids) and has a workshop space in the back.

The creators of IGC are Janelle and Jean – North Shore based small business owners and busy moms to 5 little kiddos. 

Our own retail store? Are you kidding me?!  We are so excited that this partnership has allowed us to have a prime retail space in the heart of LoLo (Lower Lonsdale), run our businesses, plus spend time with our families.  We also wanted a place where like-minded local artisans and small business owners can showcase their amazing products and talents and create a supportive network for each other.
