I sing [to my] body electric…

“I sing the body electric… To be surrounded by beautiful, curious, breathing, laughing flesh is enough…” – Walt Whitman

My edit: “I sing [to my] body electric…To be surrounded by [my] [-], curious, breathing, laughing flesh is enough…”

Why did I delete that one particular word in my edit?

This is one of several questions I will visually explore in the (now) 20 page comic, Potato Nose: Narratio Retrógrada. The comic acts as the prologue to the much larger work in development, “Potato Nose: 1977.” (Potatisnäsa: 1977).

“Boy, it is a sin to be as ugly as I am.  When I look in the mirror, I practice what I should look like when I laugh, etc. without looking ugly.  I hate it when I am natural and then see myself in the mirror and see the world’s largest nose that would break the world record for the largest potato.” – Diary entry July 29, 1977
