It’s been a week since I got back from SF to visit my daughter and I haven’t had the time to savour and digest. I need to make a date with myself. In the meantime, I have a small bookpile on my bed (amongst my thousands of books in my tiny apartment and many other “read me” bookpiles) that let me travel to SF whenever I want:
STREET ART SAN FRANCISCO- MISSION MURALISMO
THE LITTLE BLACK BOOK OF SAN FRANCISCO (Thanks to my sister in law)
GREAT BUILDINGS OF SAN FRANCISCO KNOWLEDGE CARDS
FOOTSTEPS IN THE FOG- ALFRED HITCHCOCK’S SAN FRANCISCO
SAN FRANCISCO MUSEUM OF MODERN ART- 75 YEARS LOOKING FORWARD
Anything by Robert Crumb, Alice Walker, Henry Miller, SARK, Hunter S. Thompson also evokes the Bay area.
I have a special Sweden vacation corner, NY and Iceland. TAKE A VACATION. JUST READ A BOOK.
