The story here is one of FILICIDE- the act of parents killing their children. Child murder by a parent is an archetypal tragedy, the classic drama. Resnick defines five categories of filicide: altruistic, acutely psychotic, unwanted child, fatal maltreatment, and spouse revenge. The filicide event in my graphic novel project, Molly, is a combination of the first three categories.
