China Marker and acrylic, on masonite board. This piece has taken years to complete. Initially I had Frida flying free above a lush tree and green earth with chantarelle mushrooms. I then let the piece be added to by the community at a few art events. Maryellen Groundwater later made a beautiful decision to alter the tree. Turning the piece upside down now made it the final ode to Frida.
