Transforming my 280 page research manuscript (just words) into a 200 page graphic novel (mainly visuals) is a brain exercise, to say the least.

I am currently writing the script for the book – ie. just the words that appear on the pages.

This is a phenomenal way to understand the narrative, stay within constraints, rearrange content order and prepare for drawing.

I need to SEE the book, to be able to move within it.

I did a small mockup book (2.5 ” x 3 “) of the first 67 thumbnails…
