Lost paintings, emptying the vault, clearing the mind for live #artevent

No idea if these pieces still exist!  Even though I have a ton of stuff filling an expensive storage room, my moods and moves tend to purge artwork ruthlessly.  It’s freeing to get rid of them, but then when I find them on an old CD, I get a twinge of regret.

I’m preparing for a live event which means I’m gutting the storage room of paintings, drawings, quilts, journals etc.  I’m going to allow people to look through the old journals, to do art at interactive art tables, purchase my art for cheap and join in a silent auction for larger pieces.  The evening will also include live portrait painting!

I’m just in the process getting an appropriate venue in place and will announce the date soon!   The evening will be hosted by Rebecca Rawlinson (the subject of the live portrait) and will include new portraits of my muses- Jay and Jocelyn!
