“How you live is how you heal.” Today’s portrait: @DrManonBolliger, ND

I had the pleasure of first meeting Dr. Manon Bolliger through Julie Salisbury, my publisher for Drawn Together.

I love Manon’s empowering call for self-advocacy.  She encourages you to become a self-directed patient.

You were right all along.  Healing is from within.

There is a new paradigm, which we can choose to ignore or embrace. An emerging movement of consciousness about the health of the planet, and our individual health, is empowering people to take a more active role in their health, rather than just “blindly” following the advice of their doctor or health practitioner. – Dr. Manon Bolliger

NOTE:

Naturopathic medicine delivered by a qualified ND (Naturopathic Doctor) can help you improve your health and well-being in areas such as nutrition, mental, physical, emotional and others.
The etymology of the word doctor is to teach, to show. Naturopathic doctors are not physicians.

Fabulous Manon I think you are really onto something . I only started to heal when I decided I wanted to stop be a victim to my illness and l looked at my health issues from a different perspective, not about with regard to my symptoms but I went within and looked at me from my emotions and what I was really thinking, surpressing, frustrated and angry with in my life, I took control of my own healing by changing my attitude towards it. I have read your book and I am always amazed at real life stories of healing and how they really do work when we look at our health differently.

    1. Thanks Chental! I’ll pass on your comment to Manon!

    2. Thank you Chental. Illness is in so many ways a reflection of our choices, and as such healing is as well. Disease itself is not always the limiting factor. Check out @DrManon Bolliger discussing her book #WhatPatientsDontSay http://bit.ly/13Wn6Zw Preorder it today!
