SALT GREEN DEATH – The Book Experience

DATE: Friday Nov. 6 and Saturday, Nov. 7 – rain or shine!

TIME: 7:30PM to 9:00PM

ENDING LOCATION: City Centre Artists Lodge, 2111 Main St, Room 216, Vancouver, BC V5T 3C6

Salt Green Death is a graphic novel written by Vancouver-based author Katarina Thorsen. This work of creative nonfiction brings together historical research, family history, graphic narrative, archival material and visual art. For two evenings only, we are inviting people to enter the physical and visual world of the book. The book’s author, original artwork, archival documents, images, voices, sound and live performance will exist together in the space. This isn’t a book launch, it’s an experience.

NOTE: The experience STARTS AT 7:30PM SHARP at 314 East 5th Ave.

After a brief introduction, there will be a short five minute walk outdoors to 2111 Main Street (City Centre Artists Lodge). There is one flight of stairs up to the performance space. Seating will be available in the performance space, but may be limited. Age limit 14+. Please come on time and prepared for the weather. Light refreshments will be provided.
