✨ SALT GREEN DEATH: OPEN HOUSE & ARTIST Q&A ✨

A big thank-you to everyone who has reached out about Salt Green Death!

We’re delighted to announce that both immersive, ticketed events on November 6 and 7 are SOLD OUT! For everyone who has been reaching out, we are at maximum capacity and, unfortunately, cannot accommodate requests for additional tickets.

But there is another opportunity to step inside the world of Salt Green Death!

OPEN HOUSE: Sunday, November 8 | 12–3 PM. City Centre Art Lodge Studio 216, 2111 Main Street, Vancouver. Artist Q&A at 1 PM!

Join us for an open house and a conversation about the making of Salt Green Death — the graphic novel, the original artwork, the objects and the stories that inspired it.

One of the questions at the heart of this exhibition is: What is it like to encounter a graphic novel while immersed in its original artwork?

Perhaps you’ve already read the book and are now seeing the artwork and fragments of inspiration that helped bring it to life for the first time. Or perhaps this is your first introduction to the story, and you’ll encounter the book through the artwork and the atmosphere of the exhibition.

We’ll also explore what the work evokes in you, what resonates, and how the stories and spirits of the family at the heart of the book have found their way into this space.

A few things to know before you visit:

• This is a small, intimate studio space, so we kindly ask visitors to be mindful of the space and one another. We will have masks available for anyone who feels more comfortable wearing one.

• Some of the objects and books you’ll encounter carry their own histories and stories. We invite you to take your time exploring them, while leaving them undisturbed.

• The studio is upstairs, accessed by one flight of stairs, and unfortunately is not wheelchair accessible.

• We’ll have an umbrella bucket available, and kindly ask that you wipe your feet before entering.

We’re so grateful for the enthusiasm and curiosity surrounding Salt Green Death. We look forward to welcoming you into the studio on Sunday!
